Woody Green's Bass Guitar Page
A shamelessly self-indulgent web site!

Playing my Carvin LB70 at a benefit gig.

My Toys:
Carvin LB70

This LB70 plays and sounds like a dream. It has Carvin's J99 single coil pickups, a flamed koa top, and black hardware. The truss rod cover was custommade by Kevio, the webmaster for the Carvin Museum. A link to the Carvin Museum is located at the bottom of this page.

My other Carvin LB70

An earlier LB 70, this one with all koa body and neck, and humbucking H50N pickups.

Carvin AC40

The AC40 is a semi-hollow design with piezo pickups. It sounds very "organic" with good thump.

Peavey Foundation Fretless

I picked this up used for $150 and it is a fantastic bass. It plays great with a super thin neck with fret lines, and the tone is very nice.

Fender Jazz Bass

Originally black, I refinished this is surf green and put in DiMarzio J pickups. This bass rocks hard!

Toucan Dream Jazz Bass

A parts bass with Bartolini Classic Series single coil pickups. A nice clean sound that still sounds like a classic Jazz Bass.

SX 75 Jazz Bass

El cheapo, but loads of nice tone and just fun to bang around on.
